'Autumn Bonfire' Greetings Card
£2.50
You can almost smell and hear this crackling bonfire on the shores of Grasmere Lake.
At the ‘back end’ of the year, when the leaves on the trees metamorphose into a myriad of reds, golds and yellows and morning mists and evening fogs shroud the land, the Lake District exudes mellow magnificence.
This apposite autumnal scene, captured by Lake District artist Stephen Darbishire, invites you to take unhurried walks across carpets of crunchy fallen leaves alongside chilly waters and build an appetite for Halloween and Bonfire Night treats.
