Delivery & returns

You can have up to 8 items to one address for one delivery charge. Other larger items may be classed as more than one item for the purpose of delivery – this will be clearly marked next to the product i.e. Small Gift Hamper.

Where possible we use as ecologically friendly packaging as possible yet still providing sufficient padding for your goods to arrive safe.

*Certain UK Postcodes are excluded from a Next Day Delivery Service/Premium Service (Inc. Saturday) and incur an additional charge of £2 (£7.95). They will be despatched First Class – Signed For via Royal Mail and should arrive between 1-3 days . Please see further information here if you live or you are sending to one of these locations. 

You will receive a text notification* to let you know your delivery is on its way. This will also have options of what you would like to do with your delivery; i.e. reschedule delivery, leave with a neighbour, leave in a safe place etc. DPD will also provide an hour window on text or email that you will recieve by 11am**

** Non Royal Mail/International shipments sent for delivery on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be with DPD

Please note we are unable to make any deliveries to PO Box numbers or BFPO addresses

All parcels MUST be signed for*. If delivery is unsuccessful then a card will be left by the courier with instructions to contact the nearest depot for re-delivery. if you cannot be at the delivery destination between these hours please provide an alternative address such as a designated neighbour or a place of work.

*unless delivery instructions are given during checkout. Please be aware that delivery drivers will only leave a parcel in a selected place if they deem it safe to do so. Please do not ask for it to be left on the doorstep/in the garden etc as this will mean it is returned to the depot. May vary with COVID-19 practices by the courier.

Here at Grasmere Gingerbread® we want to offer our unique product to all corners of the globe. To do this we work with FedEx and DHL to offer an express service for all regions possible at the most competitive price available.

Generally overseas orders are despatched early in the week to avoid any weekend delays in depots, therefore when a preferred delivery date has been requested we will aim to get it there as close, if not on, to that day possible.
