Grasmere Gingerbread® Terrific Tiffin


175g golden syrup

125g unsalted butter

200g milk chocolate

200g dark chocolate

12-piece packet of Grasmere Gingerbread® (chopped)

100g raisins

50g diced crystallised ginger (optional)


  1. Grease and/or line your baking tin (approximately 9” x 9”).
  2. Melt the golden syrup & butter in a large saucepan, on low heat until melted and starting to bubble.
  3. Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the chocolate, until melted.
  4. Add the chopped gingerbread, raisins and crystallised ginger, mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the tin and press down firmly.
  6. Leave to set in fridge for at least 4 hours.
  7. Once set, remove from tin and cut into pieces. (incredibly moreish)
