Created by Cumbrian illustrator Hilary Yafai, granddaughter of the Lake District landscape artist William Heaton Cooper and the sculptor Ophelia Gordon Bell, the design features our famous mountains, hillside footpaths, Grasmere Lake, St. Oswald’s Church, a poetry parchment of ‘Daffodils’, Cumberland ‘wrestlers’, rushes from the village church’s annual rush-bearing ceremony and a tin of iconic Grasmere Gingerbread®.
