Iconic Grasmere Gingerbread® is a unique spicy-sweet cross between a biscuit and a cake. Crispy, crumbly, chewy and utterly moreish, one piece is never enough. Invented by Victorian baker Sarah Nelson in 1854, Grasmere Gingerbread® is a tantalising, mouth-watering taste sensation. It is still ONLY baked and sold at the historic Grasmere Gingerbread Shop in the English Lake District. Sarah Nelson's Comfort Coffee is exclusively roasted and blended for Grasmere Gingerbread® by Mr Duffin’s Coffee in Staveley, a fellow family business that ethically sources its coffee beans from small coffee farmers in Peru.
Integrity Note: We only have small batches of coffee delivered to us weekly to ensure it’s freshness when dispatched to customers. As with any freshly ground coffee it is recommended to use within a month of purchase to enjoy it at its best.
Please note freshly ground coffee does require a cafetiere and can't be used in coffee machines or as instant coffee.
