The English Garden
A large (5x7) silk finished card (supplied with envelope) of The English Garden by artist Michael J Browne who was challenged by the Arts Council and the BBC to create a painting that epitomised the mulit-cultural dynamics of contemporary Britain. Joanne Wilson who manages The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop was chosen by Michael to be immortalised. The painting was unveiled on the BBC TV on St. George's Day in a documentary entitled 'Made in England'. For more information and to view BBC clips please go to the news page.5
